8 month happenings!

Well it is 8pm and I am finally getting a chance to sit down and write an update. 8pm on Karter's 8th month of being in this world.....(no I didn't plan to sit down at this time. lol)

I have so many posts to come, great videos, pictures of Easter, and a fun day that we had at the park recently, but no time to load the pictures tonight.  So a quick update will have to do until later this week. Because we just had Easter I thought it was only appropriate Karter to have his own set of bunny ears to get into the spirit!! :)
Karter at 8 months!

Karter VERY curious about the sign!

In his mouth it went...just like EVERYTHING else these days!

Here are a few pictures of Karter with Murray the Monkey. Getting him to stay still is simply impossible these days!
I am going to eat you Murray!!

A squeal and a grab of the toes, it what he wanted to do at that moment!

And yes...our little ham is striking a pose for the camera!

I can hardly believe that my baby is already 8 months old.  I simply cannot believe just how fast he is growing and all the new things that he is doing. It is a joy watching him try new things and be curious about things in this world.

Ever since Karter was born I have sang the "Mr. Doo Bee" song, (it is a song that my mom sang to me when I was younger),  Karter also has a bee toy that he loves, and has a book that has bees in it.  So, I bet you guys are wondering yeah so what's the point.....well the other day it was sunny out and I was carrying Karter out to get the mail. As I headed down the front porch stairs I heard a bee buzzing in the azalea bush that is blooming near our stairs.  I stopped on the step to show Karter the flowers, and he watched intently as the bee flew from flower to flower....once he realized what it was he leaned his head forward to study it closer and then giggled.  I then made a "buzzing" sound, and he smiled.  The point of me telling you all this is that in that moment I realized just how much he is learning and understanding these days.  It was so neat to watch him really understand something and to get excited about it.
