So much going on at 10 months!

Wow, the month has not only flown by, but Karter keeps me a lot, and I mean A LOT more busy these days!! :) 

Karter is such a busy little guy.  He has mastered crawling, and can get from point A to point B rather quickly, and has moved onto not only pulling himself up, but is now cruising around the furniture walking.  He takes steps from furniture to toy, and from toy to Jasen and I with a helping hand.  He is such a gutsy little guy, always eager to try things on his own with little to no help at all.  Before long he will be taking his first steps to us on his own.  

 

Introducing new things for Karter to eat has been fun as well. Meal time is always exciting.  Here is a video of Karter trying cottage cheese one night.  (before I realized he wasn't to have cow's milk until 1...oops!!) Do you think he liked it??? 

Never again...I repeat...NEVER again Mom!!!

Keeping Karter interested for long is a thing of the past. He is such an active and social baby that he gets bored easily and I find myself scurrying to change things up to keep up with his ever increasing curiosity.  One day I was putting dishes away and Karter heard me clank two bowls together...he quickly scurried over to see what the noise was.  To honor his curiosity I let him have the bowls to play with.  Here are a few shots of his fun with mixing bowls.

Nope...but they sure do make for a stylish hat!

Karter has found a favorite toy.  It is the "pop beads" that his Auntie Allie gave him for Christmas.  The pop beads have become equivalent to Pig Pens (from Charlie Brown) blanket. Karter immediately finds that toy out of his toy bin, puts it on his finger, and away he goes.  It gets carried, it gets crawled with, it gets pulled up onto things with, it simply goes EVERYWHERE!!!

We have been working on clapping lately.  As with everything else he does it on his own timing.  However, one this ONE time and I mean ONE and only time he chose to do it when I asked, and while video taping him!

Now what would my monthly update be without a picture on the couch? Only this time Karter has a lovely goose egg to show off to you all!! This time his  curiosity got the best of him. And let's not leave out our pictures with Murray the Monkey!!

I know this update was a bit long, but I just had so much to share with you all.  There is always such funny things he does that I don't want to miss sharing them with you all, even if it is a little lengthy.  Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!
