Meet our doctor!

So yesterday Jasen and I finally got to meet our doctor.  Up until this point we have met with nurses, ultrasound technicians, and other doctors.  I was recommended to Julie from my sister who had her during her pregnancy with my niece.  I actually met Julie once during Allie's delivery and loved her bed side mannerisms.

Julie was amazing as well as was her nurse Julie.  Yes, both Julie's! Jasen and I got many questions answered, and left feeling really good about everything.  Well...except for the amount of blood they drew from me.  It is that is normal for these appointments, I just simply hate needles!
Julie not only is an OB doctor but also has credentials in education, high risk pregnancies, and specializes in women's health. She is really passionate about not only treating, and being a doctor but also loves educating people and making sure they are well informed.

  1. I HATE having blood drawn, too. I was shocked how much they took at the first draw, but that was it for draws until around week 30 when I did my glucose challenge. They test for a few other things at that time, too. I was told those are the only two big draws, though. So you should be in the clear for a little while, at least! Glad to hear you like your doctor so much, too. :)
