Moving, and Painting, and Preparing Oh My!!!

Spring break normally is a time that Jasen and I like to get away even if it's for a night, but this spring break we knew that we had plenty to do around the house to start preparing for our baby boy.  We began as planned moving the office downstairs, putting together a smaller desk, priming and painting the baby's nursery, setting up the crib and changing table.  I am happy to say that we got all of that accomplished!!! The nursery is still a work in progress and we are awaiting some decor, and our bedding should arrive this week but here are a few pictures.

Still a lot to do, but already coming together early on!
The closet it starting to get some things in it from some friends. Grandma Linda and Grandpa Mike added to our diaper and wipe collection that we have going as a gift,  and we got some clothes from Grandma Leslie!  My mom and I took a day and did some retail therapy and found some really cute clothes and we also found our bedding that we ordered and it should be here any day! Thank you mom for buying us the bedding for the baby's room, and for sharing in this experience with me. I love you!!!

Along with working on the baby's nursery, we also were able to register for some things that we want and need.  We are registered at:

Daddy having fun with the registering gun!  He was such a good sport, and we actually had a lot of fun looking at all the cool baby stuff.

So although this wasn't a relaxing spring break, a lot was accomplished and it was very productive. Our hope is to get as much done as we can now so that we are prepared, and that way we can enjoy the last few months together going on little dates, and just being at home "just the two of us".
