About 5 weeks to go!!!

With about 5 weeks to go we are definitely doing the baby countdown.  The baby shower is done, stuff is washed and put away, car seats are in the cars, swing and other necessities are put together...now just waiting! Here are a few updates on what has been going on with Mama Heather:


Weight gain to date: To date I have gained 25lbs. My doctor thinks I will be right about the 30lb mark for total weight gain.  

Aches and Pains: Other than the restless sleepless nights, my pregnancy has gone VERY smoothly..except for one little bump in the road.  This week my ankles have been KILLING me! When I went into my doctors appt. I found out I have some tendon issues going on, not just from swelling but from all the years of cheering and dancing I did.  So the fix you ask....compression thigh highs!! Oh yeah...talk about uncomfortable and so not sexy, however they do seem to be helping.  


Cravings: Ice cream!!  I know it's not the best thing to be craving especially if I want to stay around the 30lb. weight gain mark, however at this point in my pregnancy it is soooooo good! 

Looking forward to: Next week we have our "Stork Express" pre-admission paperwork and hospital tour and one last ultrasound. We are also going on an overnight trip for our anniversary and before baby arrives.

One more exciting thing: We think we have come to a decision on a name...but to be sure we want to see him and will announce it once he makes his appearance into this world. :)

Below are a few pictures of the baby's room, still have a couple of pics to hang (maternity pics), and have something with baby's name to put out once he is born. But things are pretty much done and in order!
