About 2 weeks ago Jasen and I made a trip up to Tumwater where we had Steve Schmidt with Olyphotos do our newborn pictures of Karter. Steve did a wonderful job working with us and being VERY patient with Karter who definitely ran the show that day.
When we got there Karter was sleeping and we tried to get some shots of him sleeping but he quickly woke and was going to have NO part of the sleeping shots! In fact he let us know real quick that he wanted to eat and that no pictures were going to be taken until he was fed. So....we nursed!
Steve was really great getting shots in between Karter's wiggles, grunts, cries, diaper changes, and baby grins. After Karter ate he was totally alert and quite the little ham! In fact Karter really has been an alert baby from the moment he was born, as if he were saying.....Hello world...HERE I AM!!!
Jasen and I had a wonderful time and absolutely love the pictures, and look forward to working with Steve again in the future. It has been so nice having him follow and document our life from our engagement shoot, to our pre wedding photos, to our wedding day, maternity photos, and now shots of our new family. Thank you so much Steve!!
