Feeling Lucky!!!

Happy St. Patricks Day everyone! To get in the spirit for St. Patricks day I of course put on my St. Patty's day socks, decorated the house this past month with shamrocks, leprechauns, and green items, and even painted my nails green.  But beyond the fun green holiday hoopla I found myself reflecting on the last 7 months, and was once again reminded just how "lucky" I am.

Every day spent with my family and with Karter is such a blessing.  Today it was just Karter and I because Jasen was at work.  Karter and I spent the day playing, laughing, playing patty cake games, singing the wheels on the bus, doing baby fly, and giggling and laughing at one another.  Sometimes I wonder if he knows just how much laughter and joy he brings to my life.

I find it hard to believe that my little baby is already 7 months old. He is growing so quickly, and I often wish father time would slow down a little bit.  I think I said this in my last blog, but I will say it again...I am so amazed by watching his little personality develop, and am in awe of his independent personality that he has.  Wonder who he gets that from?? :)

Trying to get Karter's pictures with Murray the Monkey this month took several attempts.  He didn't want to lay still, then he got distracted by the flash, then he wanted to roll away from Murray, as well as act stiff as a board.  I was cracking up laughing how quickly his mood changed in a matter of seconds.

Stiff as a board!!!

Kicking Murray!!! with his "whatever mom" face

To rolling over...all in a matter of seconds!!
This past week we also introduced a ducky bath tub that my friend Amanda and Stephanie got us as a baby shower gift.  He grew out of the baby bath tub, so then we had him bath laying on his back in the tub and he loved kicking his feet, but now that he can sit up we thought it was a perfect time for the ducky tub.  Here are a few pictures of Karter...He LOVES IT!!!

Fun in the ducky tub!

I LOVE BATH TIME!!!

Tonight in the spirit of St. Patty's day we introduced another vegetable, a green one of course...green beans.  Surprisingly he did really well with them considering they are not as sweet as some of the other home made veggie baby food I have introduced.  He has also tried peas, squash, sweet potatoes, carrots, bananas, and apples...and loves them all!!

Hope you all have a great rest of your St. Patty's day and a wonderful week! I suppose the next post will be soon since Easter is right around the corner!!
