My busy little bee....

Today Karter is 9 months old and boy oh boy is he a busy little bee!  He definitely is keeping Jasen and I busy and I have a feeling just by his behaviors already he is going to give us a run for our money from here on out!!  He is very active, interested, and extremely curious, and is CONSTANTLY on the move these days.

As you can tell from the pictures below Karter definitely has a mind of his own.  He is Mr. Independent and is into everything and doesn't sit still for long.  Trying to get Karter to stay still with Murray the Monkey was impossible, so instead I thought you all would get a kick out of all the many positions he moves around in, in a matter of 10 seconds....Enjoy!! :)

My first official Mother's Day was wonderful! I was able to spend the morning with my mom, then spent the rest of the day with Jasen and Karter.  It was such a beautiful day out that we decided to pack a picnic and go to Sehmel Homestead Park in Gig Harbor and enjoy the sunshine. Then we came home and BBQ'd and let Karter swim in his new pool! It was a perfectly relaxing day with my family!

Karter Updates:

• Crawling Everywhere
• Still getting up once a night
• Loves most all solid foods he has tried (not a huge fan of cauliflower though) 
• Says Mama, Dada, BaBa, and squeals and babbles
• Favorite bath toy: his crab or his fishy
• Weight: 18lbs 10.5 oz (almost 19lbs)
• Clothing: Size 9months
• Loves playing with Chloe and Tucker
• Can sit up on his own, can pull himself up onto things, and is learning to take steps while holding my hands
• Loves books
• Loves music 
• and loves his 1st sippy cup!  

Hmmmm.......do I get to drink this by myself???

Why yes I do....cause I'm a big boy now!!
