What a difference a week can make......

It has only been a week since I last posted and boy oh boy has a lot happened in the world of "Karter milestones"!  I have been lucky enough to catch these great moments on camera, and just had to share them with you all. (Sorry some of the videos might come up sideways, I didn't realize it when I was taping him from my camera phone, and there is no way to fix it)

Karter now crawls, officially crawls not just army crawls.  In fact he crawls EVERYWHERE and is getting faster by the day.  Here is a video be sure to watch the whole thing just to see how quickly he moves around now when he really wants to. 

Along with crawling everywhere he now pulls himself up onto the ottoman, the tv stand, chairs, my legs, his toys, and yep one more place.....his crib.  This is what I walked into the other day.

 Karter loves his table top toy and really loves it even more now that he can crawl over to it and pull himself up to play on it.  He has now also learned how to take steps from one toy to another and loves to dance to the music the toy makes.

Look at me! Standing all on my own

Not only is Karter clearly on the move he is VERY curious.  Yesterday I was folding laundry and had the hamper on the floor.  He was very interested in the hamper. He crawled over to the hamper and dropped his toy in the hamper.  Trying to get the toy back out of the hamper he tipped the hamper over and crawled inside of it.  I thought it was too cute, flipped the hamper the rest of the way over him and snapped some pictures.  For several minutes he sat under the hamper playing with his toy, until he realized he couldn't get out.  He is very smart though and pushed up on the hamper to try and get out. Mommy had to help him a little but not very much.  I always liked the Curious George cartoons and books growing up because the monkey was into everything and a bit mischievous.....guess I have my own little "Curious George" on my hands now! :)

 With all this exciting stuff going on he has kept me very busy and has exerted himself to the point of catching a cold.  Being a baby is so tough! So it has been a day of pj's, cuddles, boogie wipes, naps, and more cuddles to help make my baby feel better!
