I am writing this update quickly just in case we lose power! Snowmageddon arrived in WA Tuesday and hasn't left us yet! So since school has been closed I have been totally enjoying my time home with my little man, and thought I would write you all and update you on what's been going on with our family!
Karter is now 5 months, and is getting more and more curious by the day. He loves to reach out and grab things, roll, talk, scream, is almost sitting up on his own, and has begun lifting his rear while doing tummy time. He has quite the little personality now and Jasen and I constantly find ourselves laughing or smiling at something he tries to do, or some facial expression he makes.
| Always biting on my bottom lip!! It makes my mouth feel better.... |
Karter also has his first tooth. Well....I guess I should say the tip of his first tooth. You can barely see it, but if you put your finger in his mouth he lets you know it is there! I go through bibs like crazy with him now.
Karter definitely has surpassed Murray the Monkey in the height department, and instead of just reaching out for him, he decided that this month he would pick him up and trying eating his head!! :)

We also took Karter swimming at the pool at my work a few weeks back. We got a video of him but he looks a little timid and unsure about it in the video. Don't let that fool you...a little later he was laughing and having a great time, only our camera wouldn't work once we tried to get it on tape. :(
On Tuesday when we first started getting snow I bundled Karter up so he could experience it for the first time. Of course he didn't really know what to do with it, but he sure did look around as it fell from the sky, then he began giggling! We got such a kick out of him and how happy he was. Maybe one day he will enjoy being up at the mountains snowboarding with Daddy and Mommy!
